Register as a user of the Commons

Please note: as of March 2024, we have temporarily suspended user registration in order to improve our overall processes. Therefore, instructions below are for reference only.

You are free to browse, search, and download data without creating a user account. However, some functionality is only available to registered users, for instance, the ability to  follow Resources, Categories, and Organizations.

To register, click on the Register link in the upper right corner of any page, fill in the form, and click the Create Account Button.

Alternatively, you can get to the Registration Page from the Log In page by clicking the Create an Account Button.
