Search
From the Home Page
There are two places on the home page to search for resources using a keyword search: in the search box in the upper right-hand corner and in the larger search box just below the slideshow. These search boxes search only the resources. They do not search categories, organizations or formats. Click here for more help on narrowing your search using those options.
From other subpages
You can also search within the Resources, Organizations, and Categories pages. The search box is always at the top of the page.
Searches initiated by clinking the links in the top menu and then searching in the highlighted box, as shown below, will only search that content.
For example, a search from the Resources page is a keyword search.
From the Organizations page you must enter an organization (such as Agriculture Department). Once an organization is chosen and its resources are listed, you can then refine the selection with a keyword search.
From the Categories page you must enter a theme category (such as Biota). Once a category is chosen and its resources are listed, you can then refine the selection with a keyword search.
