Minnesota Elk Hunt Zones

This data set represents areas within the northwest portion of the state of Minnesota that are open to elk hunting. A limited number of licenses are offered to Minnesota residents to hunt elk. Currently there are two established zones; 1) near Grygla, Minnesota, and 2) Kittson County, which are represented by this dataset. The Minnesota Elk Hunt Zones represents the current elk hunt zone. <br/><br/>The geodatabase also contains an additional feature class and corresponding layer called Historic Minnesota Elk Hunt Zones. This layer represnts historic elk hunt zone boundaries.
