The Regional Transit Authority Service Areas dataset identifies the service areas of the five regional transit authorities/providers within the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan Area (includes the 7-county area as defined by the Metropolitan Council).

The city and township boundaries used to create this dataset were derived from the Counties and Cities & Townships, Twin Cities Metropolitan Area dataset. That dataset is updated on a quarterly basis. This dataset is then recreated quarterly from those boundaries.
