In 2015, Hennepin County hosted the first Geo:Code open data code-a-thon. The organizers are looking forward to taking the conversation about community, open data, technology and geography across the Twin Cities. This year's event will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 5 and 6, 2016, in Room 412 of Robert H. Bruininks Hall at the University of Minnesota.In addition to MnGeo, sponsors include Open Twin Cities, Anoka County, Carver County, the Citizen’s League, the City of Minneapolis, the City of St. Paul, Dakota County, Hennepin County, MetroGIS, Ramsey County, Scott County and Washington County.
