PLEASE READ: Thrive MSP 2040 Job Concentrations DOES NOT include all jobs within the 7-county Twin Cities metropolitan area. Please refer to the Metropolitan Council's Twin Cities metropolitan area Job Density layer for a representation of all jobs within the 7-county Twin Cities metropolitan area. <br/><br/>Thrive MSP 2040 Job Concentrations ONLY displays job density for those jobs located within Job and Activity Centers as defined by the Metropolitan Council. The Metropolian Council's Job and Activity Centers are contiguous areas within the 7-county Twin Cities metropolitan area with 7,000 or more jobs and the net employment density is at least 10 jobs per acre. <br/><br/>Thrive MSP 2040 Job Concentrations and the Metropolitan Council's Job and Activity Centers are based on the Minnesota Dept. of Employment and Economic Development's (DEED) Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) data.
