DNR Hydrography - Fishing in the Neighborhood (FiN) Ponds

This layer represents ponds included in <b>DNR's Fishing in the Neighborhood (FiN) program</b>, described online at: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/fishing/fin/index.html. <br/><br/>This program establishes local ponds to provide urban fishing opportunities and encourage youth participation in fishing. FiN works with local partners to make safe, family settings for fishing in residential parks. FiN stocks fish, installs fishing piers and platforms, restores shoreline habitat and sponsors aquatic education to create quality fishing opportunities.
