Transitways Generalized (Alignments and Stations)

This dataset depicts the alignment of all existing transitway alignments and stations. Transitways include light rail, commuter rail and Bus Rapid Transit Alignments (BRT). The level of detail of this data is meant to facilitate planning level analyses.<br/><br/>Station data is represented in two related datasets (Transitway Stations Generalized Locations and Transitway Stations Generalized Attributes). Stations that are served by both light rail and BRT receive two points to reflect their separate infrastructure.<br/><br/>This dataset also describes an associated spatial view. Spatial views are queries of existing feature classes and tables. They typically bring together geometry and related tables primarily for supporting web applications but can used in Desktop GIS applications or accesses by third party software. In this case, Transitway locations and attributes are brought together via the primary and foriegn keys.
