Digital Orthoimagery, McLeod County, Minnesota, Spring 2018

Ayres Associates provided McLeod County, Minnesota with digital, color orthoimagery serives in 2018. The aerial imagery was collected on May 6th and 7th using a Leica DMCIII sensor mounted in a fixed-wing aircraft. Aerial imagery was collected to support 0.33 foot ground sample distance (GSD) orthoimagery at 1"=100' map scale to meet ASPRS Class II standards with a horizontal accuracy of +/-1.6 feet at a 95% confidence level. Resultant orthoimagery was rectified to a DEM surface created from existing county LiDAR data. Orthoimagery was delivered in client specified GeoTiff and MrSID tiles according to a 5,000' x 5,000' tiling structure and a project-wide MrSID mosiac.
