Development Trends Along Transit (DTAT) Permit Data

This dataset includes 2 feature classes described below:<br/><br/>The "DTAT Residential Permits", and “DTAT Non-Residential Permits”, derivative data are created and maintained as part of the annual Development Trends Along Transit (DTAT) Report published by Metro Transit's TOD Office. The dataset consists of:<br/><br/>1) DTAT Residential Permits: Point features representing permitted residential developments across the Twin Cities Metro Area from 2009 to 2023. Permit points that fall within a given high frequency transitway buffer**, in years that the transitway is active, are coded by transitway. All single family detached permits (SFD) have been excluded from this data. Please see the “Lineage” section for more info on the DTAT process.<br/><br/>2) DTAT Non-Residential Permits: Point features representing permitted non-residential developments across the Twin Cities Metro Area from 2009 to 2023. Permitted development types include Commercial, Industrial, and Public/Institutional. Please see the “Lineage” section for more info on the DTAT process.<br/><br/>**Metro Transit defines high frequency transit as local bus, BRT, or LRT lines that operate every 15 minutes or less on weekdays between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., as well as on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.<br/>
