Statewide leaf-off imagery project nears completion

A statewide project to collect digital aerialimagery, in four bands (red, green, blue and color infrared) at a level of detail neverbefore achieved in Minnesota is rapidly reaching completion.  For more information see:

We are adding data from several agencies to create The Minnesota Geospatial Commons, a collaborative place for users and publishers of geospatial resources in Minnesota. Data from those sites are being continuously moved here during 2014 and 2015. In the meantime, if you can’t find what you are looking for, check the other sites:

Minnesota Geospatial Commons launched on July 1, 2014

The inital release of the Minnesota Geospatial Commons was launched on July 1, 2014.  This first phase of the project establishes a single, stable portal for Minnesota GIS data.  Although not all data can be found on the Commons today, many more data resources are currently being added through phase two of the project.  By the end of calendar year 2014, it is expected that all of the best agency data will be available through the Commons, and individual state agency portals (e.g. the Data... more
